Log Cabin FAQ!
All delivery dates or lead times stated are approximate, and are given by Optimum Homes in good faith for indication purposes only. Delivery times range from 1 – 10 weeks depending upon the type of product ordered.
What is the LOG CABIN MANUFACTURE TIMES?
All our standard cabins take 2 to 6 weeks after the deposit was received . Delivery from March to October each year can take longer due to the fact that these are peak season times at the factory. Quick delivery cabins as delivered within 2 weeks but it is also advisable to check with us before your purchase as stock is coming and going from our warehouse daily. Bespoke ordered log cabins take approx 2 weeks longer than our normal standard cabins as they are only produced after the plans are signed off on and received at the factory.
Will I be told how long my delivery will be?
Yes! Once the order is finalised our staff will be aware of your needs and requirements and will source lead times for your log cabin immediately. You will always be aware of the progress.
Will my log cabin take longer if the specification is different from original plans?
Yes! Log cabins vary in specification. Optimum Homes log cabins take one week to deliver if there is no other specification needed. However, most new home owners do prefer to add their own special spec’ to their new log cabin and as such delivery can sometimes take up to 10 weeks.
Can I pay now and get my log cabin delivered at a later date?
Yes! Payment will secure your new home. We will advise how long the delivery time will take and then you can let us know when you want the log cabin ordered.
Do you deliver throughout Ireland?
Yes! Anywhere on the continent of Ireland.
Will my log cabin be insured if something goes wrong via the delivery process?
Our trusted haulier partners have vast experience in handling timber kit products (packed in a waterproof packing) to ensure they arrive in top condition and ensures a fast and efficient transportation of your purchase. When accepting delivery of larger cabins our experienced team will consult with you in relation to what is best practice for the removal of goods from our delivery vehicle. You must let us know of any limitations regarding size of your unloading area and access before placing an order so alternatives can be arranged if possible.
